Staying at the Nowa Nowa caravan park tonight. I didn’t quite make it to Orbost. Only did 50Km today. Going all the way to Orbost meant I would have gotten in to late and they most likely would have been full. So I took the safe option and stopped at the Nowa Nowa Caravan Park for the night. Taking the train back was like a slow ride back into reality.
Bringing back all the things I didn’t get a chance to deal with before I left. Like the bike parts I’d been carrying. I’ve been carrying bike parts around for over 600Km. Bits that needed to go on the bike. I’ve also been carrying a folder of paperwork that I hadn’t dealt with yet. The Latest Ride Updates

There was little time to train, or prepare, I’m still riding around with Bar tape which I plan to wrap the handle bars in when I eventually have a rest day. Getting the house finished and then moving out was just a nightmare but there was little I could do in the time frame that I had. The longer I took to get away the closer I’d get to running out of money. Continue reading “Ride Update #1”
The troublesome house renovations are coming along, slowly but surely as they say. The biggest part of preparations. The biggest hold up is the floor in the dining area and passage. Getting the old tiles up was a nightmare but after 3 days of blood sweat and tears they’re up! Continue reading “Preparations For The Ride”
